West Coast Ventures & Resources Facilitates Strategic Sale of United Pacific Waste Facility to Grit & Gravel and Miranda Logistics
Los Angeles, CA — West Coast Ventures & Resources has successfully closed on the sale of the United Pacific Waste material recycling facility to Grit & Gravel and its sibling company, Miranda Logistics. The terms of the transaction remain undisclosed.
Grit & Gravel, a 100% woman-owned business, specializes in municipal concrete recycling and rock crushing operations. Its sister company, Miranda Logistics, operates exclusively in trucking and excavation and holds Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification. Collectively, the two companies operate over 60 trucks daily and sought a centralized base of operations to support their growing business.
Randy Teffeteller, CEO of West Coast Ventures & Resources, was retained by United Pacific Waste to manage the sale of the family-owned business. He first facilitated its acquisition by CR&R in Orange County, California, for an undisclosed amount.
Shortly after that transaction, Teffeteller worked closely with Grit & Gravel and Miranda Logistics to secure the United Pacific Waste property and provided investment capital to finalize the deal.
“This would have never happened if not for Mr. Teffeteller,” said Stephanie Miranda, owner of both Grit & Gravel and Miranda Logistics. “It’s been a pleasure working with him and seeing firsthand why banks nicknamed his title ‘GSD.’”
The acquisition provides Grit & Gravel and Miranda Logistics with a permanent operational hub, further positioning the companies for expansion in Southern California’s recycling, trucking, and excavation industries.
